With our first product it is possible to create low-cost electronic applications in conventional printing plants. Our innovative product represents an important milestone in the field of printed electronics, as it allows for the production of intelligent paper products for everyday life applications. Our conductive offset inks can be used for instance to produce humidity sensors. These sensors can be printed on paper substrates with well-known printing methods (offset printing, flexographic printing etc.). Via simple buttons these sensors can be linked to an output device, which measures the existing humidity (e.g. optically or acoustically). The key advantage of our approach is that these sensors can be produced by lowcost methods in large quantities. Hence, they are well suited for one-time applications. |

The company enjoys worldwide recognition as a pioneer in the development of fluid handling and coating equipment for a wide range of high technology applications, and is the inventor of the extrusion or “spinless” coating, a slot die based technology that has become the standard deposition method for the flat panel display (FPD) industry. nTact was founded in Dallas, Texas, and was initially focused on the development of an innovative and proprietary dual-stage pump for dispensing high purity polymers. The Company successfully introduced a line of patented fluid handling products, delivering these products worldwide to major semiconductor manufacturers. In the early 1990s, using its proven dispense technology as a foundation, nTact began the development of its extrusion coating technology, identifying it at the time as "FAS-Coat," for thin film microelectronics applications. The development work of this slot die based coating technology occurred in the early stages of the FPD industry and eventually became the de facto standard for large area processing and LCD manufacturing. nTact's proprietary coating technology has made it possible for a single technology platform to provide the essential coating / deposition operations in key markets such as Flat Panel Display (including LCD, OLED, PLED, Flexible, and Touch Screen), Solid State Lighting (OLED / PLED), Photovoltaic (Organic PV, CIGS, CdTe and other thin film applications), RFID & ICC, Semiconductor, and others including biomedical and fuel cells. |

PARU FE inks are printed with conventional printing technology such as roll to roll gravure, offset and inkjet. The ink business of PARU FE can be divided into three categories. The first part is conductive inks. Conductive inks are the most basic parts of printed electronics. Now, we are making the highly conductive inks using silver nanoparticles for R2R gravure printing and inkjet printing. Also we are making the silver paste which can be applied for screen printing. The second part is semi-conductive inks. We are now using the Single walled carbon nanotube for semi-conductive inks which can be applied for inkjet printing. And using this ink, The third part is dielectric inks. These can be divided into two parts, high-k and low-k dielectrics. High-k inks are made using metal-oxide and polymer hybrid. Low-k inks are made using only polymers. Using these three types of electronics inks, we make printed electronics devices. Also, we have designed the printed electronics RF devices based on printed organic thin film transistor, diode, capacitor. Our technologies can be used for printed RF label & logo, printed photovoltaic, printed display, printed sensor, FPCB, printed fuel cell and Bio-technology. Thank you. |

Printechnologics GmbH |
|
| "Printechnologics has developed game changing technology enabling printed circuit structures on paper.” (Stefan Gabriel, president of 3M New Venture) Our vision is breathing digital life into all printed products. Printechnologics is the leading technology developer in field of printed electronics. We are able to offer a dramatically new technology enabling print products to communicate with the online world by only one touch. Printed during a regular offset printing machine process, our invisible identification tag – which we named AirCode – interacts with online world just by one touch. Holding on smartphone – being online – as easy as it sounds. Using known materials and processes, the AirCode is thin, flexible, recyclable, invisible and robust. But furthermore, the additional production costs are just a fraction of a cent. Including all these advantages, the AirCode comes down to everyday end user applications like marketing, brand production, ticketing, publishing or gaming – just to name a few. Since 2010, we are a 3M Company. |

Solarmer Energy Inc. |
|
| Solarmer Energy, Inc. is a leader in the effort to develop a clean energy source through organic photovoltaics (OPVs). These solar cells are flexible, translucent, and available in multiple colors. Their low cost and versatility will result in consumer independence from grid power. The panels are made of an inexpensive polymer film sandwiched between thin metal contacts. The manufacturing process utilizes roll-to-roll coating technologies that are simple and consume little energy. Some applications that take advantage of OPVs thin profile and low cost are portable electronics such as cell phones. Smart fabrics used in clothing or tents benefit from the flexibility and large-area capability of OPVs. Building-integrated products such as power windows take advantage of the low cost, translucency, and multiple colors. Solarmer Energy is located in Los Angeles and plans to deliver OPV panels to market in 2012. | Booth number: 303 www.solarmer.com |
